During a pivotal period in Myanmar’s democratic transition, I spearheaded local operations and hosted an innovative live call-in discussion program—among the first of its kind in the country. This platform empowered everyday citizens to speak openly about corruption, land seizures, ethnic tensions, press freedom, and other urgent topics, bypassing traditional state-controlled narratives. Despite logistical hurdles and political pressure, the program maintained an uncensored, fact-based dialogue between the public and journalists.
